Ingredients

  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers, cooking until they soften and become fragrant, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Toss in the sliced steak and mushrooms, seasoning with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Cook until the steak is browned and tender, about 7-10 minutes.
  5. Pour in the beef broth, stirring to combine everything.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a well-greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  7. Top generously with shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Let the casserole cool slightly before serving.

Notes
