Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Beat the softened butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 3–4 minutes).
  4. Add in the egg and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the blueberries and any optional add-ins like white chocolate chips or lemon zest.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are set.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
