Description

A delicious and multi-layered dessert combining crushed Oreo cookies and creamy fillings that evokes nostalgia and indulgence.


Ingredients

  • 48 Oreo cookies, finely crushed
  • 10 tablespoons salted butter, melted
  • 12 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 16 ounces Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: In a medium bowl, combine the finely crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are well coated and then press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish.
  2. Create the cream cheese mixture: In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth.
  3. Add the whipped topping: Gently fold in the Cool Whip and vanilla extract into the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Build the layers: Spread half of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust.
  5. Repeat the layers: Follow with the second half of the cream cheese mixture and then top with the last of the Cool Whip.
  6. Finish with a crunch: Crumble some Oreo cookies on top for decoration.
  7. Chill before serving: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
