Instructions

  1. Heat the Olive Oil: In a large pot, pour in a splash of olive oil over medium heat. Allow it to warm.
  2. Sauté the Vegetables: Add the diced onion and bell pepper once the oil shimmers. Sauté until softened, about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Cook the Sausage: Incorporate minced garlic and sausage, breaking apart with a spoon, until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Blend the Flavors: Stir in the rice until coated in oil.
  5. Bring It to a Boil: Pour in the chicken broth, increasing the heat to bring the mixture to a boil.
