Ingredients

  • 4 medium sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and pierce the sweet potatoes with a fork.
  3. Bake the sweet potatoes for 45-60 minutes until tender.
  4. In a bowl, mix chopped pecans, maple syrup, melted butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  5. Once the sweet potatoes are cooked, cut them open and fluff the insides with a fork.
  6. Stuff the sweet potatoes with the pecan mixture.
  7. Return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes.
