A rich and creamy cheesecake topped with a sweet maple pecan pie filling, perfect for any dessert lover.

- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup maple syrup
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract and sour cream.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
- While the cheesecake is baking, prepare the maple pecan topping by combining pecans, maple syrup, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Once the cheesecake is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.
- Spread the maple pecan mixture over the top of the cheesecake.
- Let the cheesecake cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark maple syrup.
- Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature for a smooth batter.
- Can be made a day in advance for better flavor.
