Delicious and flavorful Italian Herb Chicken Parmesan Meatballs that are perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, parsley, garlic, egg, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined and form into meatballs.
  4. Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. In a saucepan, heat marinara sauce over medium heat.
  7. Add cooked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  8. Serve hot with pasta or on a sub roll.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes to the meatball mixture.
  • These meatballs can be frozen for later use.
