Ingredients

- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, parsley, garlic, egg, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined and form into meatballs.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
- In a saucepan, heat marinara sauce over medium heat.
- Add cooked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot with pasta or on a sub roll.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes to the meatball mixture.
- These meatballs can be frozen for later use.
- Serve with a sprinkle of extra Parmesan cheese on top.
