Ingredients

  • 500 g Magerquark
  • 3 Eier (eggs)
  • 2 TL Backpulver (baking powder)
  • 90 g Mehl (flour)
  • 1 TL Vanilleextrakt (vanilla extract)
  • 1 EL Öl zum Braten (oil for frying)
  • Sweetener of choice (e.g., maple syrup, stevia, honey)
  • Optional for serving: Powdered sugar, fresh berries

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the Magerquark and eggs until smooth.
  2. Slowly incorporate the flour and baking powder, stirring gently to eliminate lumps.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and sweetener to taste.
  4. Heat a nonstick frying pan over medium heat, adding a drizzle of oil.
  5. Using a spoon or ice cream scoop, drop the mixture into the pan, spacing them evenly.
  6. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side until golden brown.
  7. Flip carefully and cook for a few more minutes.
  8. Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar and garnished with fresh berries.
