  • 200g plain yogurt

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 400g canned tomatoes
  • 200ml coconut milk
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and chili powder. Add the diced chicken and marinate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for another minute.
  4. Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in canned tomatoes and coconut milk, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
  6. Cook for 20 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
