- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 eggs
- 4 cups powdered sugar

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix together the yellow cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg until fully combined, then spread in a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Beat the cream cheese until smooth, then add in 2 eggs, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter in the pan.
- Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown, allowing some moist crumbs on a toothpick.
- Cool slightly before serving warm, optionally with whipped cream.
