Description

A delicious appetizer featuring sweet dates stuffed with creamy goat cheese and crunchy almonds, drizzled with a tangy balsamic reduction.


Ingredients

  • 12 Medjool dates
  • 4 oz goat cheese
  • 1/2 cup almonds, chopped
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the dates lengthwise and remove the pits.
  3. In a bowl, mix the goat cheese and chopped almonds until well combined.
  4. Stuff each date with the goat cheese and almond mixture.
  5. Place the stuffed dates on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until warm.
  6. In a small saucepan, heat the balsamic vinegar over medium heat until it reduces by half and thickens.
  7. Drizzle the balsamic reduction over the stuffed dates before serving.

Notes

  • For a sweeter flavor, add honey to the goat cheese mixture.
  • These can be served warm or at room temperature.
