- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup pineapple chunks
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque.
- Stir in the pineapple chunks and soy sauce, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix the cooked rice with chopped green onions.
- Serve the garlic butter shrimp over the pineapple rice and garnish with additional green onions if desired.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the shrimp while cooking.
- Feel free to substitute the shrimp with chicken or tofu for a different protein option.
