- 1 package Oreo cookies (about 36 cookies)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Chocolate shavings or additional crushed Oreos for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
- Mix the crushed Oreos with melted butter until well combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a pie dish to form the crust.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
- In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until fully combined.
- Pour the peanut butter filling into the cooled Oreo crust and smooth the top.
- Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Garnish with chocolate shavings or crushed Oreos before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate Oreos.
- This pie can be made a day in advance for convenience.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
