Description

A hearty and comforting dish made with tender steak, potatoes, and a blend of savory toppings, all cooked to perfection in a crockpot.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of steak, cut into cubes
  • 4 large potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups of beef broth
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large crockpot, layer the diced potatoes and chopped onion at the bottom.
  2. Add the cubed steak on top of the potatoes and onions.
  3. Pour the beef broth over the steak and vegetables.
  4. Sprinkle garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper over the mixture.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the steak and potatoes are tender.
  6. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the shredded cheese and sour cream, stirring gently to combine.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy your loaded steak and potato bake!

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños or chili powder.
