- 1 lb chicken breasts
- 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- Add the crumbled bacon and ranch seasoning on top of the chicken.
- Pour the chicken broth over the mixture.
- Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, add the cream cheese and stir until melted and combined.
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain.
- Mix the cooked pasta into the crockpot and stir to combine.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese and let it melt before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for extra nutrition.
- For a spicier version, add some red pepper flakes.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated for leftovers.
