- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and a mixture of breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add butter.
- Once the butter is melted and bubbling, add the breaded chicken breasts and cook until golden brown on both sides.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in chopped parsley and pour the garlic butter sauce over the baked chicken before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in Italian dressing for a few hours before breading.
- Serve with a side of pasta or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
