- 1 package of crescent roll dough
- 1 round of brie cheese (about 8 oz)
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place the brie cheese in the center of a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spread the cranberry sauce over the brie cheese.
- Sprinkle the chopped walnuts on top of the cranberry sauce.
- Arrange the crescent roll triangles around the brie, overlapping them slightly to form a ring.
- Fold the tips of the triangles over the brie and tuck them under the ring.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the crescent dough for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the dough is golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh rosemary if desired.
Notes
- Serve warm with crackers or sliced baguette.
- Can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
- Feel free to substitute the walnuts with pecans or almonds if preferred.
