Ingredients

  • 2 oz mezcal
  • 1 cup dried hibiscus flowers
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 oz agave syrup
  • Ice for shaking and serving

Instructions

  1. Boil water by bringing 2 cups to a gentle boil in a small saucepan.
  2. Add the dried hibiscus flowers and cinnamon sticks to the boiling water, stirring gently.
  3. Reduce heat and let it steep for about 10 minutes.
  4. Strain the mixture into a container, discarding the solids, and let it cool completely.
  5. In a cocktail shaker, mix the cooled hibiscus tea, mezcal, fresh lime juice, and agave syrup.
  6. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously.
  7. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice and garnish with a lime slice or a cinnamon stick.

Notes
