- 1 cup pitted cherries, chopped
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup almond butter or peanut butter
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, chopped cherries, honey or maple syrup, almond butter, chopped nuts, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
- Press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
