Cheesecake Brownies are a delicious dessert that combines rich chocolate brownies with a creamy cheesecake layer, creating a heavenly treat for chocolate and cheesecake lovers alike.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Mix in flour, cocoa, and salt until well combined.
  4. Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer in the pan.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the remaining brownie batter on top of the cream cheese layer and swirl with a knife.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate cocoa powder.
