Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 slices of bacon
- 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add butter and sliced onions. Cook until caramelized, about 10 minutes.
- Layer cheddar cheese, bacon, and caramelized onions between the slices of bread.
- Grill the panini in the skillet until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Slice and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of black pepper or garlic powder.
- Use sourdough or ciabatta bread for a different texture.
