Description
A vibrant pasta salad combining fresh cherry tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and aromatic basil with tender tortellini, drizzled in balsamic dressing.

- 8 oz cheese-filled tortellini
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini)
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1/4 cup balsamic dressing
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the tortellini according to package instructions, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water.
- Combine the cooled tortellini, halved cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and chopped basil in a large mixing bowl.
- Drizzle with balsamic dressing and olive oil, then season with salt and pepper.
- Toss gently to coat all ingredients evenly.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh but can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Avoid freezing.
