- 1 whole turkey (12–14 pounds)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, pineapple juice, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder to create the glaze.
- Season the turkey with salt and pepper, then place it in a roasting pan.
- Brush the glaze generously over the turkey, reserving some for basting.
- Roast the turkey in the preheated oven, basting every 30 minutes with the reserved glaze, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let the turkey rest for 20-30 minutes before carving and serving.
Notes
- For best results, marinate the turkey in the glaze overnight.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar according to your taste.
