- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth, then stir in the melted butter.
- Mix in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until creamy and well combined.
- Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and stir to blend thoroughly.
- Gradually add the flour, mixing just until combined.
- Fold in the blueberries carefully.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Mix topping sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the batter.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Use overripe bananas for the best flavor and texture. Avoid overmixing the batter to keep the bread light and fluffy.
