- 12 Medjool dates
- 4 oz blue cheese, crumbled
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully slice each date lengthwise and remove the pit.
- In a bowl, mix the crumbled blue cheese and chopped walnuts.
- Stuff each date with the blue cheese and walnut mixture.
- In a small bowl, combine honey and softened butter until smooth.
- Place the stuffed dates on a baking sheet and drizzle with honey butter.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until warm and slightly golden.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- For a sweeter taste, use more honey.
- These can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
- Feel free to substitute the blue cheese with goat cheese for a milder flavor.
