Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2–3 minutes.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, incorporating each fully before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Fold in the mashed bananas.
  5. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Gradually add the dry mixture to the banana mixture, stirring just until combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Combine cream cheese and powdered sugar in a bowl, adding milk as needed to achieve desired consistency.
  10. Once cooled, remove the cake from the pan and frost with the cream cheese icing.

Notes
