A delightful dessert featuring sweet baked pears with a medley of berries, toasted walnuts, and creamy blue cheese, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe pears (Bosc or Bartlett), halved and cored
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup fresh mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, or cranberries)
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts, lightly toasted
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese or gorgonzola
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the halved pears in a baking dish, cut side up.
  3. Drizzle melted butter and honey over the pears.
  4. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  5. Scatter mixed berries and toasted walnuts around the pears.
  6. Top each pear half with crumbled blue cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until tender and caramelized.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

For a lighter taste, swap blue cheese for feta. You can also use an air fryer for quicker cooking—bake for 15-20 minutes.
