  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Season the pork roast with salt and pepper, then sear it in the skillet until browned on all sides.
  4. Remove the pork from the skillet and place it in a roasting pan.
  5. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened.
  6. Pour in the apple cider and add rosemary and thyme, stirring to combine.
  7. Pour the apple cider mixture over the pork roast in the roasting pan.
  8. Cover the pan with foil and roast in the preheated oven for about 2 hours, or until the pork is tender.
