- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a doughnut pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the apple cider, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fill the doughnut pan with the batter, about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the doughnuts cool for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
- Optional: Roll the warm doughnuts in cinnamon sugar for extra flavor.

- Store leftover doughnuts in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For a glaze, mix powdered sugar with apple cider until desired consistency is reached.
- These doughnuts can be frozen for up to 2 months.
