A delicious vegetarian dish featuring crispy roasted cauliflower coated in a sticky honey garlic glaze, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 large head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Sesame seeds and green onions, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  3. Roast the cauliflower for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  4. Prepare the sauce by combining honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan. Heat over medium until it simmers and thickens slightly, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  5. Transfer the roasted cauliflower to a large bowl and pour the warm honey garlic sauce over it. Toss gently to coat.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

Notes

For a vegan option, substitute honey with agave syrup. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
