A delicious vegetarian dish featuring crispy roasted cauliflower coated in a sticky honey garlic glaze, perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 large head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
- Sesame seeds and green onions, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
- Toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Roast the cauliflower for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
- Prepare the sauce by combining honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan. Heat over medium until it simmers and thickens slightly, about 3 to 5 minutes.
- Transfer the roasted cauliflower to a large bowl and pour the warm honey garlic sauce over it. Toss gently to coat.
- Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
